Red Ring of Death

Yes, the dreaded Red Ring of Death (RROD) has happened to me. Let me fill you in on the past. I was an excited boy, I had been saving up to buy my next generation console and so I went to MicroCenter to by my XBOX 360. I had a online print of Office Depot offering one for $300 (Pro Model) with a mail in rebate, so I asked MicroCenter to price match or give us compensation. They gave me $25 off, good enough for me.

Bring it home, find out it's the older version of the 360 (pre HDMI) Called them, they don't have the new one, so I return it and go to Best Buy, I pick out another 360 and they give me the full $50 off so I got the new "new" 360 for $300! I got this one back home, after a day, I got the RROD. Fast forward Best Buy > Exchange > Back Home.

Everything was going well for a while until this past Monday August 4th 2008 My 360 Failed again, but for good. Another RROD and now waiting for Microsoft to send me a box to ship my nothing but a door stop back to them for a new refurbished one. I thought these "new" versions of the 360 where suppose to be better, but I guess not.

So now I'm without my 360, gameless, until next week or later at best. How can a company get away with this? I have no idea, but I'm the sucker that still bought it. Thanks Micro$oft.

A Event Apart

Hello. A Event Apart is a amazing event with twelve fantastic designers, writers, and developers, all there to speak with everyone about what they do and to share their knowledge with you. I wish to attend this event, but I don't have a lot of money so I am simply asking for donations for those who can donate a little. With a little effort I hope to reach my goal of $995.

This event has so many things to offer and I don't want to miss out. It would be such a great learning opportunity, and a way to be inspired with new ideas and concepts. Which I can use later on at work and for myself. This also make a great opportunity to meet and network with other designers and developers that are going to be there. So please, it would me a lot to me if you could donate any amount to help me out in reaching my goal!

Grand Opening

Hello everyone! I have just created my first store item! and it's free! I just wanted to get things going and I'll have more stuff on the store as time allows me to make stuff. Most of the things on there will be little things like web icons and other such things. I do not plan to charge a lot for anything in my store, everything will be under $10 and I'm sure I'll have some coupons floating around from time to time.
